His Grace Bishop Silouan (Fotineas) of Adelaide graduated from Saint Andrew’s in 2001. In 2002 he was ordained to the priesthood in Brisbane and from 2006 until the latter part of 2019 he served as the parish priest of the Holy Monastery of Saint Nectarios in Adelaide. His research interests include Patristics, Ecclesiology and Church History of Late Antiquity. On 19 January 2020, he was ordained an assistant bishop to His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, with the title 'Bishop of Sinope.' In July 2024, the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate created the Bishopric of Adelaide and elected His Grace as 'Bishop of Adelaide' within the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia.
