Through faithful adherence to the Orthodox Christian Tradition, St Andrew's Greek Orthodox Theological College strives to serve the Church and the broader community through theological education and the ministries of its Faculty and alumni.
St Andrew's endeavours to fulfill this mission by:
Providing undergraduate and postgraduate programs for candidates to the priesthood, scholars, teachers and lay people
Promoting in-depth theological research and reflection
Organising lectures, research seminars, workshops, conferences and retreats
Publishing its theological journal, Phronema, as well as books, CDs and other educational material related to Orthodox Christianity through St Andrew’s Orthodox Press
Communicating information on Orthodox Christianity through its Faculty, its library, the Archdiocese bookstore, as well as internet and other media (e.g. Voice of Orthodoxy periodical and the Greek-Australian VEMA newspaper)
Supporting the Church in mission, evangelism, monasticism, family life, social work and ecumenical relations
Interacting with universities and tertiary centres of theological education
Committing to the ongoing demands of civil accreditation through its membership of the Sydney College of Divinity, a federation of Christian theological education providers
