Public Lecture by the Sub-Dean

On 1 June, Dr Philip Kariatlis, Sub-Dean, Academic Director and Associate Professor of Theology, presented a public lecture at the Greek Orthodox Church of St George in Hobart (TAS) entitled “God's Miraculous Presence on Earth.” One of the key themes of the presentation was the importance of love for one another in all we do as active members of the Church. The lecture was well attended and included an opportunity for Q&A. This was the fourth presentation in a 5-week series of lectures organised for the benefit of the local Orthodox Christian community by the Archiepiscopal Vicar for Canberra and Tasmania, the Very Revd Archimandrite Fr Prochoros Anastasiadis, himself an alumnus of St Andrews.
