The College was honoured to host a public lecture by Father George L. Parsenios on 29 June entitled “St John Chrysostom and Jesus as the Adaptable Good Shepherd in the Fourth Gospel”. Father George is Associate Professor of New Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary (New Jersey), and Sessional Professor of New Testament at St Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary (New York). His teaching and research explore the interaction of early Christianity with classical literature, as well as the interpretation of the New Testament in the early church. He is the author of scholarly books and articles, and regularly teaches courses on the Gospel of John, First Corinthians, and Saint Paul.
