Guest Lecture

On Monday 13 October 2014, Dr Dimitri Koubaroulis, founder of the Melisma Ensemble and analagion.com, the largest online resource for Byzantine chant, presented on the historical context, inventors and effects of the New Method of Ecclesiastical Music within the main hall of the College. His Grace Bishop Seraphim of Apollonias, College Sub-Dean and Lecturer in Liturgical Studies, introduced Dr Koubaroulis, whose public lecture was entitled 'The Ecclesiastical Music Reform of 1814: a 200-Year Anniversary Tribute.'
