Adult Faith Education Open Learning

On Saturday 19 September 2015, St Andrew’s delivered a series of catechetical lectures on the topic “Baptism: Being Clothed with Christ” at the Greek Orthodox Parish of St Paraskevi, Taigum (QLD), as part of its Adult Faith Education Open Learning (offered to the public for the third year in a row). Three lectures were delivered to an appreciative audience of around eighty people by Rev. Fr Gerasimos Koutsouras (Lecturer in Church History and Liturgical Studies), Basilios Psilacos (Teacher in Liturgical Studies and Byzantine Music) and Anastasios Kalogerakis (College Registrar and Associate Lecturer in Biblical Studies).

A special thank you to Rev. Fr Laurentiu Pescar and the parishioners of St Paraskevi for hosting the event with such generosity of spirit, as well as to Rev. Fr Anastasios Bozikis for assisting as MC, and to all those who attended.
