Guest Lecture by Faculty Member

Associate Professor Philip Kariatlis, Sub-Dean of St Andrew's Theological College was guest speaker at the annual Youth Retreat of the Antiochian Orthodox Church. He presented a lecture titled, 'Stage of the Spiritual Life' in which he spoke about our life in Christ essentially in terms of: seeking the will of the One; stretching forth towards the infinity of Love and Freedom; and suffering the blossoming a true human being in our love for God and others. Other speakers included His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios, Primate of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines (and Lecturer in Christian Spirituality at St Andrew's Theological College) and Deacon Theophan Nahas (student of our Theological College.
