Anastasios Kalogerakis, Registrar and Associate Lecturer in Biblical Studies, presented a public lecture at the Greek Orthodox Parish of The Holy Trinity in Hobart (TAS) on 18 May, entitled “What do Orthodox Christians Believe: A Brief Catechism” and based essentially on The Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed and the Holy Scriptures. The lecture was well attended by around 100 people, with an opportunity for Q&A. The parish generously provided dinner for all afterwards in the adjacent refectory. This was the second presentation in a 5-week series of lectures organised for the benefit of the local community by the Archiepiscopal Vicar for Canberra and Tasmania, the Very Revd Archimandrite Fr Prochoros Anastasiadis, himself an alumnus of St Andrews.
